Do you want to leave for an unforgettable adventure? PakaSafaris offers you a 5-day safari in northern Kenya, discovering some of the country’s most beautiful and unspoilt parks and reserves, Ol Ari Nyiro. The program was designed to minimize distances and road transfers.
Choosing PakaSafaris means choosing a “different” safari: private, exclusive use of the jeep, personal Italian guide and accommodation in carefully selected and good quality camps and/or lodges.

DAY 0: JOMO KENYATTA AIRPORT AND TRANSFER TO NAIROBI
We will leave for the first stage from Nairobi no later than 6/6.30 in the morning. We recommend staying overnight in the capital and you can enjoy this time by visiting the major attractions of the city: David Sheldrick Orphanage, the Giraffe Centre and the Karen Blixen Museum. Or you can simply rest from the long intercontinental journey before the safari.
The meeting with your Italian guide will take place on the morning of departure, when he will pick you up at the selected hotel.

GIORNO 1: LAKE NAKURU
This morning we leave the capital very early to head towards the Nakuru National Park, that we will reach after about 4 hours of travel. Today we will visit one of the most famous parks in Kenya, and where we will meet the rare giraffes of Rothschild, endangered species, pink flamingos, and black and white rhinos.
We will arrive at the park in the morning, around 10 am.
Lunch at the lodge, in the heart of the park.
In the afternoon we will continue our game drive in search of lions, rhinos and much more.
Dinner and overnight in the park.

DAY 2: OL ARI NYIRO
Today we start towards Ol Ari Nyiro Conservancy, one of the wildest and most unspoilt reserves of the country, home of the famous writer Kuki Gallmann.
We will arrive in the Conservancy after about 3-4 hours of travel.
Lunch at the lodge.
Afternoon Game drive.
Here we can also organize exciting walking safaris and magical aperitifs at sunset, in a fabulous setting.
Dinner and overnight at the camp.

DAY 3: OL ARI NYIRO
Full day dedicated to the private Conservancy of Kuki Gallmann, Ol Ari Nyiro.
We will take all the time to turn calmly in search of animals.
Even today we can decide to do game drives, picnics, walking safaris, aperitifs and much more…
Lunch and dinner at the lodge.
GIORNO 4: SOLIO RANCH
After breakfast, short morning game drive into the Conservancy towards the exit, then head to the feet of the Monte Kenya.
We will arrive at the lodge after about 3-4 hours of travel.
Relax and lunch at the lodge. If we choose to stay at theAberdare Country Club we will find ourselves immersed in a private reserve where giraffes, impalas, warthogs and peacocks roam the manicured prairies, right at the foot of the majestic Mount Kenya.
Immediately after lunch, in the early afternoon, we will move to the nearby Solio Ranch, a privately owned conservancy, internationally recognized as the best reserve for the protection and conservation of rhinos throughout Kenya.
The scenery in Solio is something poetic: on the green pastures whole families of rhinos graze quietly, together with giraffes, buffalo and impala. It’s an animal that triggers a deep admiration and reminds us of ancient dinosaurs.

DAY 5: RETURN
This morning we leave in the direction of Nairobi, in time to reconnect with the international flight or the domestic flight to the coast.
You can decide to stay a few days in Malindi for a beach holiday in our intimate Boutique Hotel.
EXTENSION OF THE SAFARI
If you would like to extend this wonderful safari to 6 or 7 days, we recommend adding one night to the Lake Bogoria, after visiting Lake Nakuru. This is where you find the largest concentration of pink flamingos in all of Kenya, in a one-of-a-kind show. The lake also has hot springs that erupt intermittently, real geysers that can be admired as a backdrop among the numerous population of flamingos. You can add a night to the Lake Naivasha, before arriving at Lake Nakuru. Here we can do “something different” like the boat trip on the lake to see the hippos up close and the eagles fishing. We will also relive the magic of the 60s and the story of Elsa the lioness, because we will stay in the former holiday home of George and Joy Adamson, those who adopted it and later released it in nature: the first great success of this kind in the history of conservationism. The lodge is called Elsamere. Here we can also take an interesting bike ride among gazelles, buffalo and giraffes in the Hell’s Gate National Park, which is located a few km from the lake.
